After years of struggle and fight, Chula Vista Firefighters and the community win at City Hall and will staff its first full time 4 person staffed Engine Company effective July 2017.
Chula Vista Firefighters IAFF Local 2180 also secures and guarantees the hiring of 12 Firefighters in January of 2018.
Chula Vista Firefighters IAFF Local 2180 are fighting to keep our community safe and ensure we get to our people in time.
Failing response times and understaffing has plagued the Chula Vista Fire Department for years, something has to change.
Public Safety has to be priority one.
