Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Today our paychecks were not processed and deposited into our personal banks. This mistake was unprecedented and totally unacceptable. I have been in communication with the Finance Director David Bilby to see what could be done to fix the issue. We also have made contact with our legal team. Mr. Bilby advised that the entire City was in the same situation. Over 1,178 employees did not recieve thier paychecks. The Finance Director advised that the fault lands with the bank and the City had done all the appropriate steps to process the payments.

Please contact California Bank Trust directly at 619-409-9020 to resolve any overdraft issues or penalties suffered from this mistake. The Bank's contact is Erin Austin.

Any member that has suffered any financial impact and does not recieve a timely response needs to email Mr. Bilby directly. He will be handling all reimbursements and financial questions/issues.
